Menopause Yoga Accredited TeacherI recently became an accredited Menopause Yoga teacher.

Menopause Yoga™ was founded and created by Petra Coveney. Petra is a Senior Teacher and Trainer for the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) and Yoga Alliance Professionals and has been a member of British Menopause Society for health practitioners since 2017.

Petra’s wonderful book ‘Menopause Yoga – A Holistic Guide to Supporting Women in their Menopause Journey’ published by Singing Dragon in October 2021.

Menopause Yoga is based on different styles of practices focusing on the many symptoms of menopause and includes:

  • breathwork
  • meditation
  • women’s circles
  • journal writing
  • information on signs & symptoms of menopause
  • treatment options
  • nutrition
  • complimentary therapies
