Update on ‘Face-to-face’ Yoga Classes
The Welsh Government have announced from Monday 13th July 2020, organised activities can take place outdoors, including team sports and other activities, such as dance and fitness classes. Activities must be limited to 30 people, and a risk assessment must be taken to keep everyone safe.
Weather permitting I may organise an outdoor yoga session, subject to Welsh Government Guidelines and the terms of my yoga teaching insurance policy terms and conditions.
Currently Hatha yoga classes continue via zoom. Accessible with a completed British Wheel of Yoga questionnaire, Disclaimer and informal pre-attendance chat. These forms are available on my website www.aurayoga.co.uk.
Aura Yoga with Geri class timetable via zoom:
Monday 7-8pm BST
Wednesday 9.30-11am
Saturday 11am-12 noon
Sunday 2-3pm Meditation (some experience is recommended as we sit for 30-45 minutes)
£5 per session or free to NHS staff and keyworkers. Payable online or via PayPal.
No yoga classes or Aura Homoeopathy Clinic in August 2020 due the easing of ‘lockdown’ in Wales so we can all enjoy our freedom and the great outdoors once again.
Our regular yoga venue has confirmed they have decorated and deep-cleaned the building throughout ready for when we get the go-ahead to resume classes.
I switched to teaching online on 1st April and thankfully it has been a success, however, I do miss so many of my yoga family and the energy of a live, group yoga session. In fact, I have decided to continue teaching yoga online alongside ‘face-to-face’ yoga classes as it is great to have so many new and familiar faces from many parts of the globe.
If you would like to try a yoga session via zoom but are unsure, here are some comments from satisfied attendees:
Thank you Geri for not only getting me through lockdown, but actually getting me stronger than I’ve been for years – so many debilitating conditions have meant I’ve deconditioned badly. Having your healing lessons after so many years away was amazing – life changing. And thank you all for welcoming me.”
Geri is an inspiration to us all.”
Geri is our muse and wise one.”
Honestly, I can tell you after trying a number of yoga and Pilates classes, you are without doubt the best I’ve come across.”
I completely agree. I had been looking for a replacement for my first yoga teacher for 30 years and not found anyone until you Geri. Thank you.”
Geri is definitely a very special person, one in a million. So lovely and caring to everyone and as a yoga teacher irreplaceable…. Thank you Geri for all you do for us.”
I agree, I wish I had found Geri years ago.”
Me too!”
Me three! You have been my light over lockdown. You Geri and the whole loving yoga family you have created. I feel honoured to be part of it.”
I’ve been going to Geri for over 20 years.”
That’s amazing! I remember the lovely class back then with you. One of the things I missed a lot when we moved to England.”
You’ve done a very professional job which has been better than any celebrity video could be. I’m sure it’s a lot harder teaching a laptop than it is a real class, no feedback and no energy flow between everyone in a physical class.”
Thank you Geraldine. It’s been wonderful having lessons during lockdown and good to know it will continue either live or on zoom.”
Thank you Geri for doing the online classes which are and have been keeping me sane.”
Thank you Geri, the classes have been such a help during the last few months.”
I look forward to welcoming you at Aura Yoga with Geri soon.

Haven’t been able to join on-line classes due to work commitments, but can’t wait until face to face classes resume.
