Menopause Cafe Blackwood
BBC Wales online article on Menopause and their visit to Menopause Cafe Blackwood last month (October 2021)
Thank you Gareth Lewis, BBC Wales Westminster Correspondent and cameraman for joining us to chat to attendees, find out about Menopause and discover what happens at a Menopause Cafe.
Ladies you were fantastic! It’s vital these stories are told to raise awareness, for education and support, to act as a beacon of hope to others and for policies to be implemented.
Bistro 8 is our new venue and the staff were so accommodating – good quality coffee and delicious cake too.
Our next Menopause Cafe Blackwood is scheduled on Thursday 25th November 2021 12.00-1.30pm.
A big thank you to Sarah Williams @EqualityCounts for signposting us to BBC Wales.
A Menopause Cafe creates time and space to discuss menopause without expectations or experts. It is an open, respectful and confidential space where people can express their views safely, over a cuppa.
All ages and genders welcome. Join us for some or all of the event.
